Shir Tikvah is a kehillah kedosha (holy community) joyfully revealing the intersections of talmud torah (lifelong Torah study), tefilah (prayer), tzedakah (justice), and hachnasat orchim(radical hospitality). We creatively wrestle with creation and innovation as we invigorate Jewish spiritual life and transform the world. *This is the Vision Statement as it was voted by the congregation at the Annual Meeting on May 31, 2013 | Dear Shir Tikvah Member, What facilities do we need to do our work in the world? All members are encouraged to attend one of the following sessions, to participate in this conversation to identify what qualities in our physical spaces will be most conducive to fulfilling our vision. Each 90-minute session will focus on one of the core values, even as all are inter-connected. We know that most of you care about how Shir Tikvah expresses all of our values. To maximize meaningful involvement among our 1,400 community members, we ask that you choose ONE session from the list below and RSVP here. Facilitators will need to know expected numbers in order to prepare for meaningful conversation! *May require logging on to computer and may not work from smartphone.
