“Torah Alchemy” – informal, lay led Torah study. Get into that Shabbat feeling on the 2nd and 4th Friday evenings before services from 7:00 – 7:45PM in the Library. The format includes some reading from the weekly Parsha, how it might connect with us personally, and in our contemporary culture. Reading, discussing and discovering pieces of wisdom with other curious Torah explorers.

This week, the Parsha is Vayaytzay from Deuteronomy (28.10-32.3). This portion deals with the maturation of Jacob  from his fleeing to his Uncle's home  to his decision to return home.

This week, we will meet at 6:30 for dinner. Please note: this will not be a pot-luck dinner; rather we will all be brown bagging it. Simply bring something to eat and drink for yourself.

We’ll remind you of the weekly Parsha before Friday evening. To get on the email list and for more information contact Barry EpsteinMarian Eisner or Rich Kessler.
