He graduated with a music education degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and a master’s degree in orchestral conducting and music education from the University of Wisconsin. He also is the conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra for the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphony. Lynette Eastwold is the pianist/organist at Temple Israel and plays regularly for Jewish community events. In addition to accompanying for many recitals and competitions, she maintains a large private piano studio.

The Twin Cities Jewish Chorale was founded in the fall of 2009 as a community-wide multigenerational concert choir devoted to performance of the full range of Jewish music and associated education and outreach. Several area cantors, synagogue music directors, and college, civic and university conductors serve on its Advisory Committee. Membership in the Chorale is open to anyone who loves to sing Jewish music and has a passion for Jewish music. Members of TCJC range in age from the 20’s to the 90’s with a variety of experience, and all are enthusiastic about singing, learning, and sharing the rich heritage of Jewish music with audiences throughout the Twin Cities.
