Torah Study: An Exodus Journey

Second and Fourth Friday of the month from 12:15pm-1:30pm

A diverse and ever-changing group of Shir Tikvah-ites have been gathering on the second and fourth Fridays of the month at lunchtime to read the Torah from beginning to end.  after 13 years, we’re now in the 15th chapter of Numbers!  After a brief check-in, we go around the table, each using our own translations and commentary, and read a few verses at a time.  Some people read in English, others in Hebrew and English; all are welcome to share their questions and insights.  In the words of one regular participant, “Coming together as we do, with our commentaries and our personal insights, Torah study opens perspectives that would have been missed had I been studying on my own.”     No previous Torah study experience is necessary.  If you are interested in joining us or being added to the email reminder list, contact the Office to get Gayle Zoffer's email address.

All are welcome to participate. Now's your chance to get in on the ground floor of our next book of study.
