Night on the Street

Open to 6th - 12th graders. This is an annual event put on by Beacon, the Twin Cities interfaith housing collaborative.

Participants will learn about homelessness on national and local scales, experience dinner soup-kitchen style, and discuss the role religion has in getting everyone shelter.

The evening culminates in a life-changing night spent sleeping in a refrigerator box.

Note: this event is required curriculum for grades 6, 8, 9, 10. A completed permission slip must be returned to the office prior to your child participating.

Questions can be directed at your son's/daughter's Religious School teacher.

If your son/daughter is in 11th or 12th grade and is interested in attending, please let Forrest know.
