We are extraordinarily fortunate to have John Humleker as our Executive Director. He brings a depth of skills that benefits all of us.

John works closely with the rabbi and the Board, meeting regularly with the rabbi and the Board president. He works with the president to prepare the board agenda and attends both the Board and Executive Committee meetings.

John provides staff support to the Building & Grounds Committee and the Finance Committee. He is a member of the National Association of Temple Administrators, which is affiliated with the Reform movement.

Among his duties, the Executive Director is responsible for:

• Supervising and coordinating building maintenance, repairs and capitol improvements
• Financial records, payroll, and congregational accounts, monitoring of dues pledges and payments
• Office management: supervising the custodian and the administrative assistant
• Managing the computers
• Coordination of High Holiday Services
