Rabbi Michael Adam Latz
Senior Rabbi
Rabbi Latz has been Shir Tikvah's Senior Rabbi since July 2009. He brings to the congregation boundless energy, heartfelt compassion, and commitment to fostering an authentic and engaging Jewish experience. Previously, he
 was the founding rabbi of Kol HaNeshamah in West Seattle. A Wexner Fellow during rabbinical school, Rabbi Latz was ordained by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 2000.

Rabbi Melissa B. Simon
irector of Lifelong Learning
bi Melissa Simon joined Shir Tikvah in July 2010. Rabbi Simon was ordained by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York City, where she also received a Master's degree in Jewish Education (2008) and was named a Mandel Fellow, studying visionary leadership and Jewish education. In 2013, Rabbi Simon was one of twenty rabbis selected in North America for the prestigious Rabbis Without Borders fellowship with The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership (CLAL).  The fellowship is awarded to nurture those rabbis that CLAL believe will be the next generation of spiritual innovators.

Wendy Goldberg
Music Director and B'nei Mitzvah Program Coordinator
Wendy sees her role as being a shlichat tzibor, (messenger of the community), guiding us in prayer. Wendy has led services at many synagogues, and is the founding director of Shir Harmony, a Jewish Women's a capella group. 

She is the Director of our B'nei Mitzvah program, guiding families through the B'nei Mitzvah journey, coordinating tutors and shaping our B'nei Mitzvah curriculum.

John Humleker  
Executive Director

John provides staff support to many areas of our operations including finance, administration, fundraising and congregant relations.

Crystal Cochran
Clergy Assistant
Crystal is vital to assisting the rabbi, sche
duling appointments, and keeping track of all rabbinical and pastoral activities.

Sara Lahyani                  Office Manager                Sara is responsible for keeping the day-to-day operations running smoothly. She enjoys talking to congregants and community members, assisting with life cycle events, and working with volunteers. 

Rabbi Stacy Offner
Founding Rabbi Emerita
Rabbi Offner became the Shir Tikvah Founding Rabbi Emerita in July 2008 after 20 years of visionary and loving leadership. She came to the Twin Cities in 1984, the first woman Rabbi in the state of Minnesota. Shir Tikvah treasures our relationship with Rabbi Offner and continues to be inspired by her wisdom, vision, and courage.
